The event, which will be held at Wynyard Hall’s Grand Marquee on Friday 18th September will welcome award-winning BBC business presenter, Steph McGovern, as guest speaker. Incorporating a drinks reception and a three-course meal where guests will be entertained by various local acts, including a world-renowned saxophonist, Louise Evans and the North East’s premier magician, David Diamond.

Nifco UK, part of the Nifco group, have recently joined High Tide as industry members and as well as helping us to further push the Foundation forward in creating jobs for young people in the area, they have also offered their support by sponsoring the ball.

On top of the backing that we have already generously received from the global automotive parts manufacturer, we have also attracted support from the Thirteen Group. With 32,000 properties from North Tyneside to York, the partners in the group don’t just provide homes, they offer vital services and initiatives, as well as award winning care and support for residents and wider communities.

Kevin Shakesheff, High Tide Foundation Chairman, commented: “In September we will host our first fundraising ball to help the Foundation continue its work within the region. Companies from all over the North East have already secured their tickets for what we expect to be a spectacular night. The evening will be the perfect opportunity to celebrate the region’s young people and the collaboration between industry and education through our successful programmes.
